This is a 12-week course for people with no experience who want to learn how to paint. It will start with the basics and progress as you go.

• Acrylic Paint Techniques

• Substrate (paper & canvas)

• Blending & Gradation

• Colour & Contrast

• Composition

• Shading

• Framing and Presentation

 

Materials

A startup kit is supplied - yours to keep and more materials will be available throughout the course. You will also learn about purchasing quality and budget supplies to add to your kit.

 

We will be using acrylic paint, and each week, you will be given information sheets and homework for practice.

A focus on joy and confidence

As well as learning the foundations of painting, you will also learn to enjoy the process.  My goal is to show people how to ‘find their joy’ in art and have the confidence to create without the worry.
